Three Places to Donate Locally This Holiday Season

The Arlington Food Pantry, Arlington Heating Assistance Program and Books for Bill could all use your help.

Three Places to Donate Locally This Holiday Season

The following is from the Town of Arlington.

As you make your year-end donations, please consider a donation to the following local initiatives.

Arlington Food Pantry

The Arlington Food Pantry has been distributing food to thousands of Arlington families since 1990. The Food Pantry is totally subsidized by monetary donations and food donations from the generous residents of Arlington. For more information on the Arlington Food Pantry, please visit arlingtonma.gov/foodpantry.

Arlington Heating Assistance Program

Like the Arlington Food Pantry, the Arlington Heating Assistance Program has been helping Arlington families with home heating emergencies for many years through generous donations from Arlington residents and businesses. For more information on the Arlington Heating Assistance Program, please visit arlingtonma.gov/fuelassistance.

Books for Bill

Books for Bill is a campaign to honor the memory of Bill Shea and his advocacy for rebuilding Arlington’s schools. The campaign's goal is to raise funds for the purchase of books for the new Thompson School library. As anyone who knew Bill knows, he would much rather see books on the shelves than his name on the door. To make a donation, please click  here.
