Woman Charged with Drunken Driving After Mass. Ave. Crash

The woman rear-ended a cab early Saturday morning.

A 26-year-old Stoneham woman allegedly rear-ended a cab in Arlington early Saturday morning while drunk.

Allysa J. Donnelly, of Franklin Street, was driving erratically and then crashed into the back of the cab on Mass. Ave., at the Mill Street light, at about 1:45 a.m., according to the arresting officer, who had been driving behind her.

Donnelly appeared to be intoxicated at the scene and failed field sobriety tests, according to police. She was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, following too closely and a marked lanes violation.

Police also issued Donnelly a town bylaw citation for possession of marijuana, as marijuana was found in her center console, police said.
