Aerosmith Drummer to Open Local Coffeehouse

The drummer for Aerosmith is opening a coffee shop in early 2015.

Joey Kramer, founder of the Rockin’ & Roastin’ coffee brand, will open his first operating coffeehouse, “Joey Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ Café” in North Attleborough.

The cafe is expected to be a “coffeehouse with a rockstar edge,” according to a press release.

Kramer’s full drum kit from the “Let Rock Rule!” work tour will be displayed in a glass jewel case outside the store. Rock-and-roll images and memorabilia, plush couches and ornate moldings and fixtures will give off a rockstar atmosphere.

“I’ve always wanted to start my own business and I’m humbled by how far Rockin’ & Roastin’ has come in the past couple of years,” Kramer said. “Opening up our flagship café is another way that I can continue to entertain fans in new and unique ways.”

Joey Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ Café will be located at 551B South Washington St. in North Attleborough, MA.

The 1,500-square-foot cafe will offer complimentary WiFi and will include an additional 1,500 square feet of space with a seasonal patio.

“Rockin’ & Roastin’ has been a rapidly expanding organic coffee brand and we couldn’t be more pleased with the positive feedback we continually receive,” said Frank Cimlerand Ron Mann, Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ business partners in a press release.

There will be a variety of coffee drinks available made with Rockin’ & Roastin’ brews from Guatemala, Ethiopia and Sumatra. The coffeehouse will also provide fresh in-house baked goods like breakfast sandwiches, coffee cakes, Danishes, pastries and muffins.

A portion of the coffee sales will be donated to Ernie Boch Jr.’s nonprofit organization, Music Drives Us, which provides grants to music programs in need across New England.
