If you miss it this week, you won't have another chance until the spring.

Final Farmers Market Takes Place Saturday

This is your last chance to get your local fresh vegetables in downtown Attleboro from the Farmers Market this year. The last Kindle drawing winner will be announced at the end of the market session, which takes place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

You can continue to get fresh local vegetables for the next few months by visiting Langwater Farm and A Summer Place Farm, both of which will be taking reservations for a Winter CSA. For more information please visit them Saturday or see their FaceBook pages. Also visit the farm stands of your favorite farmers.

A Summer Place Farm, 389 Tremont Street, Rehoboth will have farm fresh eggs available from their Aracana chickens. These chickens are grain fed and include a diet of vegetable scraps.  They are free range chickens and lay blue eggs. 

Mums, corn stalks, and pumpkins will be available this week for your autumn decorating.

Proofed Artisan and Traditional Breads have on the menu: Decadent Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart, farmstand apple, cranberry & Walnut, Loaded Baked Potato, Lemon & Blueberry, Mixed Italian Cheeses w/Herbs, Pepperoni & Cheese, Tuscan Vegetable
Rustic Rye, Cinnamon Raisin, Vegan - Organic mixed seeds & fruit, 7 Grain Organic w/ Pumpkin seeds & Apple Cider.

Upcoming Events

Attleboro Farmers Market will open June 15, 2013 at a new location. Mark your calendars and come enjoy the trees and grass, the playground and fields.  AFM will be found at Finberg Field, Attleboro located at Park and Bishop Streets, directly across from Bliss Brothers.  Plenty of free parking is accessed from Bishop Street.

This week'sfood drive will benefit St. Vincent de Paul Society

We ask that you bring healthy non-perishable and not out-of -date food products.  Food items such as soups, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, pastas, sauces, canned meats and toiletries such as tooth paste, toilet paper, facial tissues, shampoo and soap are welcome. Cash or check donations will also be accepted. When you make a donation you will be entered in a drawing to win a Kindle. A drawing will be held at the end of the season. What's available this week

Lettuce is back! Peaches, apples, turnips, cabbage, spinach, beets, carrots, tomatoes, corn-on-the-cob, peppers, beans, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, onions, potatoes, summer squash, zucchini, butternut squash, acorn squash, spaghetti squash, lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, syrup, a variety of herbs and cheeses and more will be available this week. Discount coupons and Shoppers Aides

Visit the Managers’ tent to pick up discount coupons for New England Tire and SpeeDee Oil Change, and AFM shopping bag or T-shirt.

The Attleboro Youth Commission will be on hand to provide assistance to shoppers who need as extra hand with their purchases.

The market is located on North Main Street known as the Corporal George Doucette Memorial Parking Area. Free parking is available at the Sanford Street Parking Garage and Municipal Parking lot, Bank Street Municipal Parking lot, Bank Street, Hayward Street, courthouse lot, or the parking lot adjacent to the Community Garden on Riverbank Road. On-site parking is limited.
