Richard J. Beaulieu of Attleboro died unexpectedly Feb. 19 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was 80.
Beaulieu was the husband of 16 years to Eva L. (Beauregard) Beaulieu. He graduated from Taunton High School in 1951 and served his country with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
Beaulieu began working in El Paso, Texas for the U.S. Border Patrol Agency as a border patrol agent. He then worked as a boiler man for the jewelry industry in Attleboro for many years until he retired several years ago. Beaulieu enjoyed traveling with his wife Eva and cherished the trips they took on their trike motorcycle. He also loved the time he spent with his family and friends over the years.
Survivors are twin daughters Michelle J. Beaulieu and Renee J. Bevis of Attleboro; sons William L. Beaulieu of Greenville, N.C., Hersel P. Beaulieu of Las Vegas and Joseph F. Beaulieu of Dighton; sisters Rosalie Makepeace of Berkley and Pamela Beaulieu of Maryland; brother David Beaulieu of Florida; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Maryanne Centefonte.
