Boat Catches Fire, Sinks In Dennis
Two people were onboard at the time, but neither was injured. An investigation is underway.

DENNIS, MA — A boat just offshore of Corporation Beach in Dennis caught fire and sank on Wednesday evening, the Cape and Islands Harbormasters said.
The Dennis Harbormaster, fire and police departments were called to the area around 7 p.m. Two people were onboard when the boat caught fire, but jumped off the boat with flotation devices, making it to shore, officials said.
When officials arrived on the scene, the 38-foot boat was "fully engulfed in flames." The boat burned to the waterline and eventually sank, they said.
