What Could Bedford's Next Restaurant Be?

In this week's installment of You Ask, Patch Answers, we look at where Bedford residents could expect to see the newest restaurant in town.

What Could Bedford's Next Restaurant Be?

Every week we set out to answer a question submitted by one of our readers as part of our  You Ask...Patch Answers feature.

With a Panera and Chipotle most likely opening their doors in town this year, this week we decided to look into what restaurant could be bringing their business to Bedford next.

Attorney Pamela Brown, who represented Panera and Chipotle in seeking permits from the Town last year, said Bedford residents could be eating at a new Subway restaurant this year.

Brown said she will be seeking permits from Bedford for a Subway restaurant at 170 Great Road, the old Verizon Store next to the Post Office.

The hearing for the new Subway restaurant will be held on Jan. 17, according to Brown.

Construction has already started to accomodate a take out focused Panera at 213 Burlington Road, and the restaurant is expected to open its doors by March 21, according to Brown.
