Joyful Voices in Belmont Saturday

Upcoming gospel concert at the United Methodist Church will benefit three food pantries in Belmont and Watertown.

Joyful Voices in Belmont Saturday

Last year, 140 people saw and heard the Joyful Voices of Inspiration – a 40 member, non-denominational, multi-cultural chorus made up of singers from Boston and various suburban towns – give an inspirational gospel concert at the St. John’s United Methodist Church in Watertown.

This Saturday at 3 p.m., JVOI will be back for a repeat performance at the Belmont & Watertown United Methodist Church's Sanctuary in Cushing Square.

The concert will again be a fundraiser for three local food pantries; the Belmont Food Pantry, the Watertown Food Pantry and the St. Patrick’s Food Pantry in Watertown. Last year, the concert raised over $1,000 after expenses that were shared among the food pantries.

So invite family and friends for a soul stirring, spirit moving, heart warming gospel concert.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and senior ctizens. Free for children
under 12 and a family maximum of $30.

The Belmont-Watertown United Methodist Church is located at 421 Common St., Belmont. There is on street parking available; the Belmont Police will not ticket during the concert as well as the metered municipal lot located next to the Starbucks on Trapelo Road.
