In March 2014, two firefighters died in a Back Bay Brownstone fire that struck nine-alarms. The fire at the four-story brick row house at 298 Beacon St. also injured 18 others, including 13 firefighters.
Nearby workers welding an iron railing were believed to have started the fire, which was ruled an accident.
