Former Boston Celtics first-round draft pick Fab Melo was found dead in his home in Brazil, multiple sources reported. He was 26.
Melo was found dead Saturday morning by his mother. A cause of death has not been disclosed.
Melo was drafted No. 22 by Boston in 2012 after two years at Syracuse. The 7-footer only played 36 minutes over six games in his professional career.

He had been playing professional basketball in Brazil of late.
