I-93 Traffic: Lanes Reopened After Car Fire

A car fire had closed all the lanes leaving the tunnel.

BOSTON, MA — All lanes have been reopened after they were shut down due to a car fire on I-93 South at the exit of the O'Neill Tunnel, State Police said.

The fire closed down all the lanes for about 15 minutes. The left lane then opened about 50 minutes later, shortly before 2:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported, but a lot of traffic was.
