Braintree Officers Recognized for Going 'Above and Beyond'
On Friday, June 6, Sergeant Phillip Yee and Officers Brian Eng, Blake Holt, William Cushing, Peter Gillis, James Peters, Nathan Killeffer and Donald Delaney are being recognized by the Statewide Advisory Committee for CPR/First Responders for going above and beyond while rendering care to a citizen, Braintree police stated on its Facebook page.

The officers are being recognized for two separate incidents in Braintree, in which the CPR administered saved the persons life.

Officer Kristine Lydon is being recognized by the Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement for her efforts to raise money for Galactosemia research at their annual awards ceremony at Boston College on June 5. Over the past eight years, through various fund raising efforts that include a signature road race, Kyleigh’s Cure has raised approximately $250,000 for Galactosemia research.
