Firefighters Extinguish Car Fire At Barnstable Gas Station

BARNSTABLE, MA — Fire official extinguished a car fire at a Centerville gas sation Monday night. Around 10 p.m., police and fire officals were called to Alltown Mobil on Falmouth Road when the driver was trying to put out flames under the hood of his car.

Police said initially, the fire went out, but once the extinguisher ran out, the flames reignited. Fire officials arrived and put out the flames.

Police said the car sustained extensive damage to the engine compartment and the hood. No injuries or other damage were reported.
