Bus Crash In Brockton: Driver, 2 Others Injured
A medical helicopter was hovering overhead as rescue personnel worked to extract the driver and transport her to the hospital.
BROCKTON, MA — A bus went off road and crashed into a fire hydrant and tree, leaving the driver and two other with injuries.
The crash happened on East Street around 8 a.m. According to WBZ 4, about 15 Brockton firefighters were trying to remove someone from the bus. That person is the driver. Witnesses told NBC 1o the driver was pinned by the steering wheel and was screaming in pain.

The driver suffered a serious leg injury and was airlifted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, according to the Brockton Fire Department. The other two victims were taken to local area hospitals.
