As our village becomes clothed with greenness of spring transitioning into the lushness of summer, The Church of Our
Saviour's English country parish feel begins to transform into a
spiritual oasis on the edge of our great city.
Our ministry shifts to flow with the
changing seasons, thus allowing parishioners and guests to savor the
resurge of nature's lush beauty.
Sunday, June 8 - The Day of Pentecost celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit. Join us and find out why parishioners and guests are encouraged to wear something red to church on this Sunday.
Sunday, June 15 - The First Sunday after Pentecost is Trinity Sunday, a day in which we celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Join us and you'll likely gain a greater understanding of what this represents in the lives of Epsicopalians.
We will also hold our annual Church Picnic outside on the Church front lawn immediately following our 10:30am Sunday Service, June 15. The church provides the food, so all you need to bring is an open heart and a hearty appetite!
Then, on Sunday, June 22, our
Outdoor Summer Services begin as we take advantage of the warmer
temperatures by holding services a half hour earlier at 10am in our
peaceful, cool and lush church cloister. This move to the "great
outdoors" allows us all to enjoy a wonderful but reverent informality.
