Police Log: Police Make Four Arrests

 

Tuesday, Feb. 25

At 11:55 a.m., a person reported that someone wrote a vulgar message in lipstick on her car when it was parked on Executive Park.

At 12:26 p.m., an employee at Victoria’s Secret reported that someone stole $1,000 worth of merchandise.

At 4:20 pm., police summonsed a 66-year-old Newton woman to court and charged her with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise. Police summonsed the woman after a shoplifting call at Macy’s.

At 5:16 p.m., police arrested Jose Pineda-Gutierez, 33, 96 Highland St., Apt. 2, Chelsea, and charged him with larceny more than $250. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Sears.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 26

At 1:39 p.m., police arrested John Thomas Dowd Jr., 48, 47B Old Landing Way, Charlestown, and charged him with receiving a stolen credit card and attempting to commit a crime. Police made the arrest after a report of a man acting suspiciously at Pure Hockey.

At 4:55 p.m., police summonsed a 30-year-old Billerica woman to court and charged her with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and malicious damage of a motor vehicle. Police summonsed the woman after a report of a person tossing items at another vehicle on Cambridge Street.

At 5:26 p.m., police summonsed a 30-year-old Burlington man to court and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police summonsed the man after a traffic stop at Old Colony Road and Bedford Street.

At 6:47 p.m., police arrested Gary J. Forestier, 48, 26 Beacon St., Apt. 41D, Burlington and charged him on a warrant. Police made the arrest during a motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Street.

At 10:59 p.m., police notified the Water Department and MassHighway about a water leak on Westwood Street.

At 11:16 p.m., police summonsed a 32-year-old Weymouth woman to court and charged her with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

 

Thursday, Feb. 27

At 12:59 p.m., police arrested Alexander Ionov, 27, 38 Moseley St., Apt. 1, Boston, and charged him on a warrant.

At 9:59 p.m., police received a call about a suspicious man walking around a closed store on Winn Street. Police spoke to the man, who said he was looking for a leftover cigarette to smoke. Police asked him to leave the area.
