Police Logs: Shoplifters Arrested, Small Pig on the Loose

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 12

  • At 12 p.m. a partly came to the station to report that someone used her debit card without permission.
  • At 3:48 p.m. a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Winn Street. Female transported to Lahey Clinic.
  • At 4:20 p.m. a Donald Road caller reported a small pig, roughly 25 pounds, running around the area. Pig was returned to owner on Hart Street.
  • At 6 p.m. police issued a summons to a Tewksbury resident on a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon.
  • At 6:05 p.m. police arrested Taylor Marston Weed, 24, of 86 Homer St., Marlborough, on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Arrest made following a shoplifting complaint by Lord & Taylor.
  • At 7:16 p.m. a caller from Hallmark Gardens reported someone took out a credit card under his name. Police provided caller with ID Theft Packet.
  • At 10:18 p.m. Outback Steakhouse reported an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. Police spoke with the male who paid his bill and left without incident.

Dec. 13

  • At 1:33 p.m. a caller reported someone from Saudi Arabia withdrew money from is account according to his bank.
  • At 2:26 p.m. a Spruce Hill Road caller reported a suspicious male with long hair and approximately 50 years old was looking at all the houses. Male was gone when police checked the area.
  • At 5:37 p.m. Macy's reported detaining three female juvenile shoplifters. The youths were released to their parents.
  • At 7:13 p.m. police arrested Win Kyaw, 41, of 32 Seven Springs Lane, Apartment 211, Burlington on a charge of assault and battery. Arrest made after someone reported a domestic disturbance between husband and wife.
  • At 8:06 p.m. a Skilton Lane caller reported purchasing Patriots tickets over Craigslist for $600 but though the funds were transferred he never received the tickets. Caller said seller is now not answering calls.
  • At 8:09 p.m. police arrested Nicole Sheehan, 25, of 900 Lexington St., Apartment 27, Waltham, on a charge of larceny over $250. Arrest made following a shoplifting complaint by Kohl's.
