1 Injured After Boat Fire Breaks Out in Boston

Fire firefighters were called to the area of 256 Marginal Street.


Fire firefighters were called to the area of 256 Marginal street in Boston Tuesday morning to combat a fire that broke out on a boat.

Fire officials say the blaze severely charred a boat docked at Boston Harbor Marina.

One person suffered minor burns as a result of the incident. Officials say the individual was transported for treatment.

Officials sprayed water all over the dock and boat to diminish the flames. The boat partially sank due to the fire damage.

The blaze was swiftly extinguished.
