Charlestown Fire Goes to Three Alarms
Three-story building at 42-44 Washington St. goes up in flames.
The Boston Fire Department was called to a fire on Washington Street in Charlestown at around 7:30 p.m. on June 6, 2015.
When they arrived, they found fire showing through the roof of the building at 42-44 Washington St. The fire quickly went to a second alarm at the three-story apartment building. According to Boston Fire, the flames extended to the side of 40 Washington St. and a third alarm was called.
About 10 minutes ago, Boston Fire reported on Twitter that one firefighter was being treated and transported by EMTs to get checked out. There were no civilian injuries.

The department is now checking for hot spots, according to reports on Twitter.
