Whole Foods in Charlestown this Friday will hold a special one-day sale, offering 40 percent off whole chickens. The chickens are free of antibiotics and hormones, are vegetarian fed and are only $1.99 per pound.
Located below Howl at the Moon on High Street, across from Rowes Wharf in Boston's Financial District, Dick Doherty's Comedy Den will host its weekly comedy show on Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Shows cost $20 per person on Fridays and Saturdays. The 2014 Progressive Insurance New Engaland Boat Show begins this weekend at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on Summer Street in Boston.
The event, which begins Saturday, Feb. 22 and runs through March 2, will be open to boating and sailing enthusiasts and will feature hundreds of the newest boats and on-the-water accessories.
