Officials say a motorcyclist has died after a serious crash near the Sullivan Square MBTA Station in the area of Somerville and Charlestown.The accident took place around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday night, police say.The motorcyclist hit a concrete wall near the station, causing the rider to be thrown off the bike and through the air.The rider died before emergency crews could make it to the scene.It's not yet known what caused the rider to crash the motorcycle.The incident remains under investigation at this time.
