Train Derailment in Chelmsford Thursday
Police say there was an overnight train derailment that did not result in injuries.
A train partially derailed early Thursday morning, damaging the tracks but injuring no one, Chelmsford Police said.
Police responded to a report of a train derailment at 3 a.m. in the area of School Street and Meadowbrook Road. The report came from Pan Am Railways.
Four of the train's 66 cars were derailed, blocking School and Meadowbrook.

Pan Am Railways are working throughout Thursday to repair the tracks and remove the cars. Work will continue throughout today.
Police and Pan Am Railways are investigating the cause of the derailment.
