The Ducky Race and Fair will take place on Saturday, June 2 from 10 to noon at Emerson Playground. There are 1,800 rubber ducks ready to race in the raffle race, where 30 prizes valued at over $3,000 are up for grabs. Prizes include an iPad2, an iPod gift certificates to area restaurants concert tickets and much more. There will also be a petting zoo from Carriage Shack Farms, Concord Fire Trucks for kids to explore, a dunk tank, carnival games, face painting and a silent auction offering premiere prizes from rounds of golf to health and wellness packages to three nights at the Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas.

“We also have Hot Spot Bingo cards scattered strategically placed around town. These bingo cards have participating business’ logos, and when people bring these cards to that business, they get a stamp. Children will then have the opportunity to turn in their stamped cards prior to the Ducky Race & Fair in exchange for a prize. The goal of this is to help out local businesses while raising awareness of the Ducky Race and Fair,” Butler said.
