Thank you for checking out this week’s Grab & Go Kids Planner, a selection of five kid-friendly activities and new places to try out with children.

You're time-pressed enough, so once again we are doing the research and finding the best things to do and places to go in Danvers and within reasonable striking distance.

Look for the kids’ planner each Wednesday, and help us build the planner with your own suggestions and tips — just add them to the comment box. Even if you disagree with our picks, let us know. We want to hear from you!


Where/When: . Monday, March 28 at 10 a.m.

Why: Perfect for that hour before nap-time. While you are there, register your family for the town-wide .

Pricing: Free.

Where/When: Hogan Performance Center, 6 Hathorne Circle, Danvers. Friday or Saturday, March 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The North Shore Players present this family loved story as a comedic stage performance.

Pricing: $15 adult; $12 students and seniors.

Where/When: . Saturday, March 26 at 9 a.m.

Why Go: There will be healthy activities and snacks for children.

Pricing: Free.


Where/When: . Any time during normal business hours.

Why Go: The whole family will enjoy glow-in-the-dark monster themed indoor mini-golf.

Pricing: Children $6.50, Adults $7.50.


Where/When: Your home, any night.

Why Go: Remember before the Wii and the PS3 there were board games? Chances are, your children may not. Time to get into the closet and blow the dust off Parcheesi, Monopoly and other fine classics. Grab some popcorn or order a pizza.
