Occupation: Karen is an X-ray Technician and licensed CAT scan technician at Beverly Hospital, prior to that at Hunt Hospital.

Hobbies: Karen’s hobbies are her dogs.  She has five Labrador retrievers and trains them in competitive obedience. They go to AKC shows and she also judges at these events. Karen and Dick don’t breed their dogs, but have had three litters over the past twenty years. Matty and Cinder are from their own litters.

Karen also likes to watch the Patriots and Bruins and she tries to get to games, but with work and training the dogs four times a week, time is tough to find.  With this mild winter and the ability to train even more than usual, Karen trains the dogs twice a week in field and twice and week in obedience.
