The father of the Dedham man accused of kicking a 23-year-old Sterling man in the head, during a brutal fight, said his son is innocent.
Kevin Boyle, the father of 21-year-old Kiernan Boyle told CBS Boston witnesses had misidentified his son.
“He didn’t kick anybody, “Kevin Boyle said. “He wasn’t even in the fight.”
A friend of Kiernan Boyle also admitted to starting the fight.
Despite, his father’s claim, Jake Wark, Suffolk County District Attorney Press Secretary, said Boyle allegedly kicked the head of a 23-year-old Sterling man who was likewise already down.
Boyle was held on a total of $4,000 cash bail, which represents $1,500 more than he posted following his arrest, according to Wark.
