SHERBORN, MA — A three-alarm fire broke out in a home in Sherborn on Friday morning. The house was on Town Lyne Road, tucked into a wooded area. The home was a total loss, according to WHDH News and one firefighter was injured as well as one person in the home.
Neighboring fire companies had to assist Sherborn in dousing the flames — the Needham Firefighter's union tweeted the building was two and a half stories tall and crews were having water supply issues. A long hose had to be stretched down the street to funnel water to the remote house.
Smoke and flames could be seen pouring out of the roof of the home. Fire crews worked from outside the home to put the fire out.
