The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) is mandated by State law to "maintain, protect, and improve the health and well being of the people."

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) or any local boards of health have never examined any of the people who have filed thousands of written certified noise complaints from the wind turbines.

Bourne 2017

Published on Feb 14, 2017
In 2016 megawatt wind turbines were installed in Plymouth, MA to generate electricity on cranberry bogs, abutting a residential neighborhood in Bourne, MA. Soon after the turbines became operational people living nearby began to complain to the Town of Bourne. Noise and flicker from the turbines was impacting people like Karen Gibides and her family, her husband, disabled son. Karen says even their pet an eight year old golden retriever is acting abnormally now. The family were so let down by their options with the political process they decided to take legal action to ask for relief. In this half hour show hosts Falmouth resident David Moriarty and Bourne resident Michael Blanton discuss the issue with Karen Gibides, a Bourne resident, and Lance Lambros, Aide to Massachusetts State Senator Vinny deMacedo.

Falmouth 2012

Published on Jun 2, 2012
If your neighborhood is targeted for industrial scale wind turbine development, you owe it to yourself to watch this video. Shame on Falmouth and Massachusetts for allowing this to go on for over 2 years. Even now the DEP and DPH, much like the chairperson of this meeting, is trying to spin the problems with these turbines as unique. This is completely ridiculous as similar health effects are reported worldwide whenever these monstrosities are put too close to people.

During the study, the investigating acousticians experienced adverse health effects consistent with those reported by some Falmouth residents. The authors conclude that the rapid onset of adverse health effects during the study confirms that wind turbines can harm humans if placed too close to residents.

Because of widespread concerns about health and safety, many jurisdictions scattered around the United States and Canada have adopted larger setbacks in recent years.
