SUV Found In Water Off Wareham (Photos)

Police are investigating after a car was found off Little Harbor Beach Friday morning.

WAREHAM, MA – Police in Wareham are investigating after an SUV was found in the water off Little Harbor Beach Friday morning. Public safety and fire officials responded to the beach around 6:30 a.m. after the Wareham Department of Natural Resources was notified of the car.

A police officer made his way out to the SUV and determined it to be unoccupied. The owner of the car was identified and confirmed safe. No other occupants were missing, the WDNR said.

The SUV was removed without incident.
