Who Are Wind-Turbine Manufacturers Do They Care About You
Falmouth ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in USA . The turbines siting can only be explained as assault and battery on the pubic.

The Town of Falmouth, wind turbine manufacturer, contractors, state, town officials and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative today the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center were well aware of the dangers involved in the 2010 installation of the first wind turbine.
The engineers at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative,MTC, today the Massachusetts Clean Energy, MassCEC, had warned Mattapoisett residents in 2006 about two distinct types of noise from the wind turbines. The types of noise are "regulatory" measured in decibels and "human annoyance" today referred to as infra sound.
There is no doubt the state was aware of infra sound ( human annoyance) in 2006. Ten years ago !
The MTC engineers had known since the early 1980s that noise from large wind turbines can adversely affect humans. That is why they included the noise warnings in the 2006 Mattaposett noise study.
As a result of the warnings of two types of noise from the wind turbines the Town of Mattapoisetts dropped its plans to install wind turbines over objections from residents near the proposed site .
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative was the owner of a 1.65 megawatt wind turbine at the time. This turbine later went to Falmouth and became their first wind turbine. A health and financial fiasco.
In 1981, physicist Neil Kelley and colleagues reported their investigation of complaints from residents living within 3 kilometers of an experimental 2-megawatt downwind two-blade wind turbine in Boone, North Carolina. Proof of infra sound aka human annoyance.
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative aka the Massachusetts Clean Energy went on to Falmouth and dropped the warning of two different types of noise from the wind turbines. As a direct result the Town of Falmouth is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States. General Electric a domestic wind turbine company refused to place wind turbines in Falmouth over setbacks.
Vestas the manufacturer of the Falmouth wind turbines knew the setbacks to residential homes in the area would have problems with noise. In 2011 Ditlev Engel the Chief Executive Officer of Vestas admitted the infra sound problem with their megawatt wind turbines.
Vestas wind company in 2010 warned the Town of Falmouth in writing that the turbines were rated at 103 decibels but were actually 110 decibels more than twice the rated noise. The Town of Falmouth hid the letter from the public for almost six years.
Every Falmouth Town Meeting Member and residents should be asking why the town hid the noise warning. The wind turbine litigation is costing taxpayers up to $300,000.00 every six months with ten ongoing law suits because the town hid a letter and bypassed the Special Permit 240 -166 process because they knew it would require additional legal residential notifications. The special permit process would have brought attention to the noise warnings.
In an April 2013 memo the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center admitted " mistakes " in the original Falmouth acoustic noise tests.
The original MTC-commissioned feasibility study for Falmouth under- estimated the likely acoustic impact.
Also of interest is the original noise study contained a map that showed many houses around the Falmouth Wind 1 wind turbine would exceed 40 decibels of noise. The turbine generating 110 decibels of noise pushed the decibel readings to near an unbearable 50 decibels.
People need to understand the atmosphere in 2009 just prior to the installation of the Falmouth wind turbines.
A federal judge in 2011 sentenced former Massachusetts Speaker of the House Salvatore DiMasi, D-North End, to eight years in prison on corruption charges. He was convicted of taking $65,000 in bribes to steer $17.5 million in state contracts to a Canadian software firm. Sal Dimasi was the father of the 2008 Massachusetts Green Communities Act.
The state under Governor Deval Patrick was sending a message to politicians to do what ever it took to install commercial megawatt wind turbine as part of an out of control wind turbine agenda taking health and property rights.
Today all the memos, hidden letter, maps, and records from before during and after the installation of the Falmouth wind turbines point to one thing. Everyone involved in the project knew the turbines were too loud to be placed in Falmouth.
Even today the director of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has ensured that the very sound frequencies in the infra sound and low frequency noise ranges, established by Kelley and his co researchers to be directly causing the “annoyance” symptoms, are not being measured.
The MassDEP continues to follow the script of the commercial wind turbine companies to argue that the sleep disturbance, physiological stress and vestibular dysfunction symptoms and their serious long term adverse health consequences don’t exist or are caused by scaremongers.
This is neither scientifically correct, nor morally or ethically defensible. The public has the facts.
The commercial wind turbine companies would have you believe millions of people world wide all got together as Hollywood actors and came up with the same story.
The story is the victims describe the noise as a type of torture from lack of sleep
