_____________

2:06 p.m. - Turnout has been strong in Foxborough, with the noon count showing that 3,091 voters had voted. This does not include the 2,279 residents that reportedly took part in early voting.

Outside, few signs for the presidential campaign appeared with the majority of signs being dedicated to the State Rep. race between Jay Barrows and Michael Toole. Some Democrats held signs for Clinton, with the only Trump signs to be seen located at a car with no occupant and another unoccupied sign near a parking lot gate.

Foxborough Selectman Ginny Coppola, who was holding a sign for Barrows, said she voted for Trump because she thinks he's listened to the concerns of Americans.

"I think the people welcome someone who will listen to them," she said.

For Ed Baldwin, the choice was about who represented the country better.

"I don;t like a hell of a lot about (Trump) but he represents America more than (Clinton) does," he said.

Backing Clinton was Foxborough resident Ray Webb who said, "I think that's the best way to take us forward and reduce the animosity between people."

The sentiment was one that Arthur Muldoon agreed with. The stone setter said he worked on the construction of Trump Tower.

"I know he has no qualification. He's lucky to have been born with a silver spoon," he said.
