The following is a traffic alert issued by the Town of Framingham Department of Public Works:
2014 Annual Road Program – Surface Treatment: Road Surface preparation work. Remove and restoration curb work and casting adjustments. Driveway apron will be adjusted as needed. Arbetter Dr., Bacon Rd.,Catherine Rd., Cider Mill Rd., Daniels Rd., Eaton Rd., Mary Agnes Rd., Montgomery Dr., Riner Rd., Sandra Dr., Wayside Ave., Whiting Way, and Woodside Rd.
Edgell Road: Edgell Road between Central Street and Oak Street. Vernon Road, Oak Street and Auburn Street. Construction crews will continue to finalize punch items. There should be minimal impact to traffic.
Goodnow Lane: Work crews continue to install communications conduit. Minimal impact to traffic
Potter Road and Surrounding Area: Sidewalk construction and curb work will continue on Potter Road. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone. Expect Delays.
Waverly and Winthrop Street: Geotechnical borings to be performed off road on Nevins Way tomorrow, June 3. Minor traffic impacts to Waverly Street.
Wickford Road Bridge: Construction crews will continue to perform the final phase of the bridge work. The Wickford Road Bridge will remain closed until all of the bridge work is complete.
Winter Street over CSX: NSTAR will continue utility relocation in the vicinity of the bridge. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane traffic management plan.
Construction activities are scheduled to take place daily (Monday through Friday) between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Fay Road: In addition to the Town of Framingham road projects, NSTAR began installing gas mains on Fay Road last week and that work is scheduled to continue this week. Traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zone. Expect delays on the road.
