Students participated in four activities, run by the scientists and employees from Boston Scientific, each supporting the STEM and science standards they have learned in class.
Eighth grade students at Fuller Middle made and ate vanilla ice cream, focused on molecules while making slime, concentrated on probability by rolling the dice and witnessed the power of electricity.
Fuller Middle School science teacher Michelle Gallagher created the event so grade 8 students could witness science standards in a "hands-on, exciting way."
With the help of dozens of Boston Scientific employees from multiple offices, including Natick and Marlborough, the entire eighth grade class participated in four science stations on Friday, June 13.
Gallagher said all of the experiments fit into the grade 8 science curriculum.
