We're in a stretch of potentially miserable hot weather (if you don't have access to air conditioning or a body of water). Surely, many of us are complaining.
And, just months ago, we were complaining about extreme winter weather. Take a look at this video, in case you had forgotten.
The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat watch for Hopkinton and most of Eastern Massachusetts for Thursday and Friday.
According to the weather service website, afternoon temperatures on Thursday and Friday are expected to be from 95 to 100 degrees, with a heat index of up to 105 degrees.
The hottest hours will fall between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The weather service advises that excessive heat may lead to heat illnesses in children, the elderly and those performing "strenuous physical activity."
