When:  Friday, 6:30 p.m.

Why go:  and City Councilor Matt O'Malley sponsor another in their series of bicycle movies.  Tonight’s "The Flying Scotsman" is about a champion German cyclist.  Plus there's free soda and popcorn.

Where:  Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center 500 Walk Hill Street, Mattapan

When:  Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Why go:  The Boston Nature Center has a new play area where urban kids can reconnect with the natural world.  Check it out!

Why go:  Venezuelan guest conductor María Guinand leads a program of Latin American music from her home country as well as from Brazil, Argentina, and more.

Why go: The theme of the fair is Easter.  Besides a wide selection of children’s book titles, there’s a story time, crafts, and sweets to fill your child’s holiday basket.

Why go:  Dr. Jessica Lang Kosa teaches a class for expecting mothers who need to learn the basics about breastfeeding.
