Boston's City Hall to Go truck, a program inspired by food trucks and meant to allow residents to bring their issues and discussions to city hall officials directly, will be in Jamaica Plain this weekend.
The truck will make a stop at 325 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 24.
By using the truck, officials aim to serve city residents where they live and work, without them having to travel downtown to the main location of Boston City Hall itself.
The truck offers a select menu of city services directly to residents, who can pay or dispute parking tickets, request birth or death certificates, obtain a dog license, request a parking permit or pay property and excise taxes.
