We won't be going with the whole "It's Thursday and you've got no idea what' you'll do this weekend" thing today. This Saturday and Sunday, after all, are Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. So, instead here a things you may be interested in incorporating into this holiday weekend.

Why Go: According to the town website, Christmas Eve Caroling is "a town tradition that is enjoyed by several hundred residents and neighbors each year who gather to sing an assortment of traditional and favorite carols." For the final song, children will be invited up onto the bandstand with the musicians to ring bells to "Jingle Bells." Song sheets, hot chocolate and cookies will be provided to all. And the answer to that is because, chances are, there's going to be something running on TV in the backround somewhere while you're preparing for/hosting/attending a gathering of friends and family on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Also, the Patriots look to keep rolling and tighten their grasp on the AFC's top spot as they head into the post season and the Celtics and rival Knicks' tip-off starts a Christmas Day quadrouble-header, not to mention the the NBA's lockout-shortened season.
