Five Things You Need To Know, Dec. 5

Today is Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Here are five things you need to know.

The Lynnfield Art Guild holds its annual Art and Craft Show on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at the Old Meeting House. Arts and crafts created by LAG members will be available for purchase. A raffle will benefit the Lynnfield Art Guild Scholarship Fund.

Tonight at 7 p.m., it’s the annual town budget summit at the senior center on Salem Street. This is an early step in the town budget process for the coming year.

On Friday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m., the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty is coming to play a free concert at Galvin Middle School.  The band is reportedly set to be deactivated in July of 2013, so check them out while you can. Click here for more information.

This Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Americal Civic Center, enjoy holiday favorites with the Middlesex Concert Band and the First Baptist Church of Wakefield Handbell Choir. Tickets are $15 and the show is 3 p.m. Click here for more information.

Today is the last day to register for the Lynnfield Community Schools’ Gingerbread House Construction class, Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $35. Call LCS at 781-334-5814 to register.
