Street Sweeping Starts Monday

Malden's street sweeping picks back up Monday, May 2. Here are some things you need to know to avoid getting swept up, courtesy of the City of Malden website.

• NO ON-STREET PARKING ALLOWED on a regularly scheduled street sweeping day. Violators are subject to a $25 fine. Please note this rule will only impact one-side of the street at a time so refer to the "odd/even side sweeping" schedule.
• Neighborhood Street Sweeping will take place between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and noon.
• On regularly scheduled street sweeping days, residents are encouraged to sweep debris and sand from their sidewalks into the street for the sweepers (No leaves please).
