Judge Refuses to Throw Out Evidence in Mansfield Massage Parlor Prostitution Case

A request to throw out evidence in a Mansfield massage parlor prostitution raid has been denied.

Evidence against two suspects arrested in a prostitution raid last year will not be thrown out.

An Attleboro District judge ruled against throwing out the evidence on Thursday according to the Sun Chronicle.

Wei Wu, 48, of Malden, who ran the massage parlour, and Hai Feng Liu, 46, of Boston, are facing multiple prostitution charges and are appealing the decision.

Attorneys for the defendant argue that the undercover agent from Mills that was allegedly indecently touched by Liu at the parlor in March 2013 exceeded his authority because he was not a designated special police officer for Mansfield.

The prosecution argued that since he was a witness to the alleged activities, the law cited by the defence does not apply to the situation.

The business was closed after the raid.
