Car Reported Stolen, Road Rage Box Cutter Incident, CO Alarm

Friday, March 6

At 7:53 a.m., a woman reported her carbon monoxide alarm began sounding some time while she was out walking her dog. No readings were found.

At 10:06 a.m., a person opened their vehicle door into a passing truck.

At 2:09 p.m., a person reported their motor vehicle stolen from where it was parked in a neighbor’s driveway. Hours later, an investigation uncovered the neighbor’s daughter thought the car was her grandmother’s and had borrowed it.

At 5:01 p.m., another police department called regarding a suspected road raid incident in which the suspect headed toward Marblehead. The victim said the suspect waved a box cutter at him. Police were able to locate the suspect, who said he had simply been waving his hands and arms. He consented to police searching his vehicle and they found nothing resembling a box cutter.

At 5:40 p.m., a caller reported he attempted to redeem $9 worth of winning lottery tickets, but the clerk said they were not winning tickets and kept them.
