Custom Blend a Cappella Group to Sing at MLT

The acclaimed Acton-based singing group Custom Blend will be performing a return engagement at the Marblehead Little Theatre at 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Custom Blend last appeared at the MLT to a sold-out house in November 2011.

This 11-person, semi-professional singing group, which includes Marbleheader Bill Duvel, was formed eleven years ago as an outlet for music and theater friends to express themselves and have fun together singing expertly-rendered close harmony. Over the years, they have performed throughout New England and New York at many public and private events. Their repertoire encompasses tunes from the movies, jazz and blues standards, doo-wop hits, country music, and chart-topping covers from your favorite pop groups. By writing many of their own arrangements, they bring a fresh and interesting interpretation of familiar songs. Custom Blend calls their style “a cappella with attitude” because they add a dose of fun, originality, and irreverence to every appearance.

Tickets for this event are $23 for adults; $17 for students/seniors. Tickets are for sale beginning December 10 on-line (mltlive.org), at the Spirit of ’76 Bookstore, and at the door.
