Trouble The Dog plush toys and books given to Cape Ann Dept. of Children and Families for foster children
Thanks to generous support of citizens from Marblehead, Salem, Beverly and other surrounding towns

Sheila Duncan, co-creator of the comfort character for children - Trouble The Dog, recently embarked on a campaign to help foster children in the care of the Cape Ann Department of Children and Families (DCF). The campaign resulted in a successful collection of nearly 50 plush Trouble dogs and children's books for the kids to have as their own. Cape Ann DCF's mission is to ensure that children are able to grow and thrive in a nurturing home environment. This past December, there were more than 300 children in DCF's care during the holidays. "Team Trouble" wanted to help. The plush toys and books were delivered just in time for the holidays, thanks to generous community support from citizens of Marblehead, Salem, Beverly and other surrounding towns.
Participating in the delivery of the gifts for the foster kids are: L to R, front row: Cape Ann Department of Children and Families employees: Tracy Gilmore and Veronica Dexter. Back row: Carla King and Pamela Gray, Cape Ann DCF, Sheila Duncan, co-creator of Trouble The Dog, and Cape Ann DCF employees: Fredia Torrence, Julee Colella and (slight back) Kerriann Combe.
