Clinton Woman Bagged on Forgery, Fraud Charges

An area woman is facing a slew of charges after being arrested earlier this week. 

Angela Marie Whitney, 42, of High Street in Clinton, was arrested at 8:46 a.m. on June 2, and charged with four counts of forgery of checks, six counts of larceny over $250 by a single scheme, three counts of improper user of a credit card over $250, and larceny of a credit card. 

She was arrested at the police station on Bolton Street after turning herself in to police on warrants.

According to the Telegram & Gazette, Whitney was arrested in June 2013, on a domestic assault and battery charge.
