With the flu working its way through the state, the city is offering free walk in flu clinics to the public every day this week.
It is not too late to get a flu shot, according to the Marlborough Board of Health which is putting the clinics on. Typically the flu season starts in December in this area and lasts until May. However, this year the board of health started receiving reports of flu in November.
The Marlborough Board of Health is offering free walk in flu clinics every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. The vaccine is free to the public.
Insurance information will be taken from those who have insurance, but the vaccine is also free to those without insurance.
The clinics will be held at the board of health offices atthe Walker Building, at 255 Main Street, Room 109.
