Saturday, Sept. 1

2:16 p.m., Main St.  Motor vehicle stop.  A 29-year old Millis woman was charged with driving with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

7:39 p.m., Main St.  Police pulled over a car in the CVS parking lot and issued a Red Light violation. 

8:13 p.m., South St.  Police stopped a Honda CRV with a license plate that was reported stolen out of Springfield.  THe man said he had never been to Springfield.  Police determined the plate number in the system was incorrect.

8:36 p.m., Hartford St. Traffic citation issued for no license in possession.

9:10 p.m., Orchard St.  Caller reported fireworks in the area. Police did not find any fireworks in Medfield.  Norfolk police reported it was in their town and has been handled.  

9:15 p.m., South St.  Caller reported loud music in the area of Philip St. Police spoke with homeowner who turned it down.

9:44p.m., South St.  Walk-in reported loud music from a live band can be heard down South St. Police requested the music be shut down.

10:05 p.m., South St. Police removed three youths from the high school for the second time that night.

10:55 p.m., Main St., Curve St., Hillcrest Rd.  Police received several calls about loud bang noises in the center of town.  Police did not find the source.

Sunday, Sept. 2

7:01 a.m., Elm St.  Walk-in reported the port-a-potty at the Wheelock School had been tipped over.  Police confirmed the port-a-potty was tipped over.

8:46 a.m., 10:12 a.m., 12:08 p.m., Spring St.  Assist with church traffic.

11:11 a.m., Main St.  Caller reported two protesters that were in and out of traffic. Police spoke with them and they will be moving away from South St.

11:23 a.m., South St.  Seekonk Police transferred a 911 call to Medfield but the call was lost. Seekonk told Medfield the caller was about a lost dog in the area of South Street heading toward Norfolk.

12:22 p.m., Stoneybrook Rd.  Caller reported smoke and fire coming out of one of the electrical outlets in the house.

12:47 p.m., Pine St.  Walk-in reported a family member had stolen a rifle. Police spoke to the man.

5:02 p.m., Main St., CVS parking lot.  A 24-year-old Brockton man was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Monday, Sept. 3

7:12 a.m., Pound St.  Caller reported his 55-year-old son was missing.  The man returned the next day at 10:23 a.m.

12:00 p.m, Dale St.  Caller reported a suspicious tractor trailer in the Dale Street School parking lot. Police removed the plates and the driver will take care of it in the morning.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

11:42 p.m., South St.  Caller reported a dead deer on South St.  The highway department removed it the next morning.

Wednesday, Sept. 5

5:53 a.m., West St. Traffic enforcement: two citations issued.

6;09 a.m., Main St. Motor vehicle stop. Citation issued.

11:49 a.m., Curve St. Caller reported a loose dog near Curve and Spring Streets.

1:58 p.m., Hartford St. Caller reported he was behind an erratic operator of a green Honda Civic that pulled into Lovell's. Police found the car but not the driver.

2:09 p.m. Walk-in resident surrendered his firearm and license to carry.

2:14 p.m., Bridge St. Caller reported loud cries of animals, possibly coyotes. Animal Control was notified.

8:13 p.m., Donnelly Dr.  Caller reported a man going door-to-door selling something.  She told him she was not interested and he left the area.  Dover police also called regarding this man.  Police spoke with a couple of subjects who said they are stopping and will be getting picked up shortly.
