Police Log: An Alarm-Pulling Cat and One Summons for Arrest

Sunday, Nov. 25

1:44 a.m., Hospital Road. Medfield State Hospital security reported to vehicles parked off the road across from the state hospital. Police reported no problem.

5:30 a.m., South Street. Caller reported her husband had chest pains. Medfield Fire took the man to Metrowest Hospital.

8:10 a.m., Pound Street. Caller reported that all the alarms over the doors are going off at Tilden Village. Medfield police and fire departments responded. The Fire Department learned that a cat had pulled the alarm in one of the apartments.

8:14 a.m., 10:02 a.m., 11:58 a.m., Spring Street. Police helped with church traffic.

8:45 a.m., Hospital Road. Police conducted a patrol at the state hospital including the water tower.

10 a.m., Colonial Road. Lifeline called E911 to report a resident's wheelchair was stuck.

10:06 a.m., Spruce Way. Caller reported that her mailbox was hit overnight. 

11:55 a.m., Millis. Millis Police requested mutual aid on Union Street. Medfield Fire transported a patient to the hospital.

12:20 p.m., Main Street. Convenience store manager reported a man in the store asking customers for money. This man is not welcome in the store. Police spoke with management about a No Trespass notice.

2:10 p.m., North Meadows Road. Police were out with a disabled motor vehicle at North Meadows Road and West Street. Police sought a summons for a 47 year old man from Millis for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, and [driving an] uninsured vehicle.

4:36 p.m., Laurel Drive. Caller reported her house was egged last night. 

5:44 p.m., Pine Street. Walk-in report of ongoing harassment. 

9:13 p.m., Granite Street. Police assisted with a family disturbance.

9:15 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported an erratic driver (driving a car registered in Norwood)  heading eastbound near Shaw's. Westwood police were notified. 

9:56 p.m., Scott Road. Medfield Fire provided medical assistance to a resident who was slipping out of a chair.

Monday, Nov. 26

12:05 a.m., Park Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area with two people inside. Police located the vehicle but there was no one inside.

7:32 a.m., High Street. Caller reported that someone had damaged his mailbox sometime over the weekend.

12:33 p.m., Scott Road. Caller requested an ambulance for a woman with leg pain. She was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. 

3:41 p.m., North Street. Walk-in report of a suspicious vehicle in the Rockland Trust parking lot. Gone on arrival. 

4:38 p.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller reported their house was egged overnight.

9:02 p.m., Pound Street. Caller reported she was driving down Pound Street and a man in his mid-30s ran into the street toward the middle school. She said the man looked like he might be in distress. Gone on arrival.
