A pair of alleged belligerent litterbugs are in trouble for smashing and dumping glass windows on the Melrose portion of Middlesex Fells Reservation, according to a statement from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
Security photos provided by the Mass. DEP, taken during the summer of 2014, show the two individuals said to be Yvonne Rhodes and Jason Carangelo, both of Revere, removing window panes from the back of a truck, and aggressively discarding them on the state park grounds.

One photo specifically shows the man said to be Carangelo stomping on one of the windows, which possibly indicates that he took a degree of triumphant joy in his destruction and disregard for trash disposal laws.
“Illegal dumping on state property not only costs the taxpayers to clean and remove, it can also cause significant damage to the health of our parks and forests across the Commonwealth,” said Commissioner Jack Murray of the Department of Conservation and Recreation, according to the DEP’s statement.
