Winter in New England is no fun for town officials who read weather reports and need to make the final decision -- keep the schools open, close them for the day or schedule an early release.
This storm was especially difficult, as the snow totals were constantly in flux mostly because of the rain/snow line.
Milford and many other school districts decided to close schools on Thursday, while others went with early release and a few brave souls decided to open school for the full day.
What do you think? Should the schools have been closed for the day? Should there have been an early release? Or should the schools be opened today? Let us know in the comment section.
