A Milford woman, charged with driving drunk after a crash Saturday that sent another vehicle into the water, appeared in court Monday, according to WHDH.
Elizabeth Facey, 21, of Milford, was arrested Saturday after the car she was driving with her three-year-old daughter inside hit a van occupied by a woman and three other children that landed in the water in Milford. Facey's blood alcohol level was reportedly over the legal limit the night of the incident. On Monday, the court entered a not guilty plea on Facey’s behalf, and she was released of her own recognizance, according to WHDH.
Police charged Facey with driving under the influence of liquor, failing to stop/yield and operating under the influence of liquor & serious injury, according to Milford police reports.
